Head of Platform Engineering

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of platform engineering and infra; set strategy and direction.
• Partner with leadership to set a platform roadmap for reliability, security, automation, DX.
• Assess the current infra landscape to improve consistency, visibility, maturity.
• Define platform standards for cloud infra, deployments, observability, security.
• Own evolution of cloud infra, CI/CD, IaC, deployment workflows, production environments.
• Develop reusable platform capabilities and self-service to boost developer productivity.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related.
• 2+ years leading a Platform/Infra/DevOps/SRE function with technical direction.
• Proven experience managing and mentoring platform/infrastructure teams.
• Strong AWS production experience including cloud architecture, networking, scalability, security.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker in production.
• Strong background designing and improving CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
