Head of Platform Engineering

📋 Description

• Own platform engineering strategy, priorities, and long-term direction.
• Define a platform roadmap focusing on reliability, scalability, security, automation, DX.
• Build reusable platform capabilities and self-service to boost developer productivity.
• Own cloud infra, CI/CD, IaC, deployment workflows, and prod environments.
• Strengthen security with IAM/RBAC, secrets, vulnerability management, secure deployments.
• Define and track platform KPIs: uptime, deployment reliability, cost efficiency.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Cloud Infra, or related.
• 2+ years leading Platform/Infra/DevOps/SRE with technical direction.
• Proven experience mentoring platform, infra, DevOps, or reliability teams.
• Strong AWS production experience: architecture, networking, security.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and Docker in production.
• IaC experience with Terraform or Pulumi (or similar).
