Head of Platform Engineering

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the platform and infrastructure function.
• Define and execute the platform engineering strategy with the CTO.
• Develop a prioritized roadmap for reliability, scalability, security, automation, and DX.
• Present and align the platform roadmap with the CTO and Engineering Leads within 90 days.
• Translate business priorities into clear platform investments and decisions.
• Define long-term standards for cloud infrastructure, deployment, observability, and security.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Cloud Infrastructure, or related field.
• 2+ years leading a Platform, Infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE function.
• Proven experience managing and developing a platform, infra, DevOps, or SRE team.
• Strong production experience with AWS and cloud architecture, networking, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Hands-on production experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Strong experience designing, building, and improving CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or similar.
