Head of Public Markets Tax

📋 Description

• Lead tax partner to Public Markets, providing strategic tax advice
• Drive governance, compliance, and tax risk management
• Manage and develop a team of tax specialists
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Product, Operations, and external advisers
• Oversee tax governance, policies and risk frameworks
• Monitor tax changes and communicate implications

🎯 Requirements

• Professionally qualified in Tax (CIOT) and/or Accountancy or equivalent
• Experience leading tax strategy in asset management/financial services
• Strong knowledge of UK taxes: CT, IT, VAT, stamp taxes
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing decisions
• Clear, effective communication of complex concepts
• Strong leadership and team development skills
