📋 Description

• Lead an S&E team and identify partnering opportunities in China.
• Oversee scientific/technical due diligence with global teams and experts.
• Coordinate deal processes and communicate updates to executives.
• Network with Chinese partners to align AbbVie’s strategic priorities.
• Collaborate with AbbVie Ventures for equity investment deals.
• Mentor the S&E team across therapeutic areas.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in drug development or BD in pharma/biotech.
• Proven track record of signed deals; strong leadership and project management.
• Master or PhD in a related field; overseas education is a plus.
• Ability to work in a 0 to 1 environment and build internal/external networks.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, independent yet collaborative work style.
