Health and Safety Advisor (Alexendria)

📋 Description

• Provide expert H&S advice to managers, supervisors, employees and contractors
• Support risk management with Take 5s and JHAs training
• Lead chemical hazard risk assessments on site
• Ensure chemical management: registers, SDS, labelling, storage, segregation
• Facilitate incident, hazard, near miss reporting and recording
• Deliver H&S training and maintain knowledge of safety standards

🎯 Requirements

• Tertiary Health & Safety qualification or equivalent
• Current Driver’s License
• National Police Clearance
• Experience as site-based H&S Advisor in operations
• Experience managing chemical hazards and dangerous goods
• Knowledge of WHS legislation and CoP for hazardous chemicals
