Health & Safety Advisor

📋 Description

• Provide practical health and safety advice, coaching and support to leaders and employees.
• Help build a strong safety culture by influencing behaviors and promoting continuous improvement.
• Ensure each site has fit-for-purpose health and safety plans, risk registers and effective controls
• Support risk management with tools like Take 5s and JHAs.
• Lead incident, hazard and near-miss reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
• Monitor investigation outcomes and safety data for accuracy and trend analysis.

🎯 Requirements

• A Diploma in Health and Safety (min requirement) or equivalent experience.
• Current National Police Clearance and full driver’s licence.
• Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, standards and codes of practice.
• Experience in a similar health and safety role across multiple sites.
• Experience in manufacturing or petroleum environments is a plus.
• Proficient with business systems for reporting, investigations and data.
