Heat Pump Engineer

📋 Description

• Field-based role installing Air Source Heat Pumps in Newcastle, UK.
• Work with a team to deliver low carbon heating solutions for homes.
• Receive training at a £10m training centre to install kit and advise customers.
• Collaborate on technical specs and mechanical drawings; commission with an electrician.
• Lead a crew and empower team decisions to solve on-site challenges.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent.
• Full clean Driving Licence.
• Experience installing boilers; knowledge of air source heat pumps a plus.
• Knowledge of heating system design and fault finding.
• Experience reviewing technical specs and drawings; basic electrical competency helpful.
• Desirable: WRAS, UHW10/HWSS, Gas Safe, BPEC L3 in heat pump installation.
