• Lead day shift welders in heavy fabrication bay by example
• Ensure safety and quality; monitor area capacity and load
• Assign work to employees and monitor task progress
• Review and monitor job specific ITPs and drawings
• Oversee repairs, tool box talks, and X-Ray readiness as needed

• Technical welding knowledge; heavy fab experience preferred
• Interpersonal skills to interact across teams
• Able to work under stress with multiple priorities
• Ability to perform calculations related to job requirements
• Maintain and process job-related paperwork
• Interpret blueprints and inspection test plans
