📋 Description

• Own end-to-end compliance operations for a multi-state workforce.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Manage unemployment insurance registrations, withholding accounts, and new hire reporting.
• Develop state-entry processes for new locations and advise leadership on requirements.
• Lead audits, reporting, and documentation assessments to identify risks and improvements.
• Maintain HR policies, training programs, and compliance calendars.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in HR compliance, people operations, or related function.
• Direct experience managing multi-state employment compliance for distributed workers.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, documentation standards, and workplace regulations.
• Experience building compliance frameworks, SOPs, and governance docs.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Excellent written communication and ability to balance priorities in a high-growth environment.
