HVAC Technician Apprentice

📋 Description

• Assist experienced HVAC technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment (filters, coils, lubrication, components)
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage control issues
• Learn to service chillers, boilers, heat pumps, cooling towers, rooftop units, split systems
• Support inspections to identify maintenance needs and report findings
• Respond to service calls and assist with corrective maintenance and emergency repairs

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Enrollment in or completion of HVAC trade school or apprenticeship preferred
• 0–2 years HVAC or mechanical maintenance experience
• EPA Section 608 Refrigerant Certification preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn
• Ability to work independently and in a team
