Immediate School Counselor (High School)

📋 Description

• Coordinate and LEA for district MRT meetings
• Support classroom teachers with in-class character education and guidance
• Provide individual or small group counseling for students
• Update leadership on student emotional/physical well-being
• Support students with challenging behaviors
• Track attendance data and work with families to improve attendance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and a relevant Master's degree for certification
• Florida Teaching Certification or Eligibility in Guidance and Counseling Pre-K-12
• At least one year of school counseling experience
• Passing a background check per law; Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse requirements
• Two+ years of high school counseling or high school teaching experience preferred
