Independent Living Specialist - Float

📋 Description

• Provide 1:1 support in home and community settings
• Help individuals develop daily living skills and independence
• Support appointments, errands, employment activities, and community involvement
• Assist with personal care, meals, housekeeping, laundry, and daily needs
• Develop budgeting, household management, health, safety, and participation skills
• Follow individual support and service plans; complete documentation and progress notes

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree in a relevant field
• Two years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illness
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, auto liability insurance, reliable vehicle
• Willing to travel within approx. 30-minute radius of South Metro area
• Comfortable transporting individuals in personal vehicle
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different programs/needs
