Information System Security Officer (ISSO)

📋 Description

• Serve as primary information security point of contact for assigned systems and PMOs.
• Execute RMF activities supporting ATO decisions, risk assessment, and continuous monitoring.
• Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs), baselines, inventories.
• Develop and maintain Configuration Management Plans and assess changes.
• Review and approve Change Requests with cybersecurity impact.
• Develop contingency and incident response plans for resilience.

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree + at least 7 years of information security experience.
• Minimum 7 years of professional information security experience.
• Expertise with RMF, NIST, FISMA, and IT security processes.
• Experience developing SSPs, POA&Ms, and configuration plans.
• Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-37, 800-53, DHS 4300 Series.
