Interface Analyst/Engineer (Application Engineer, Sr.)

📋 Description

• Senior technical role for designing, developing, and supporting healthcare system integrations.
• Connect EHR systems with clinical, administrative, state/federal, and partner apps.
• Translate workflows into system-to-system interfaces using HL7 and interface engines.
• Balance engineering with business analysis, project coordination, testing, and user training.
• Collaborate with clinical teams, admins, vendors, and IT stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable
• Support 24/7 critical healthcare interfaces and troubleshoot complex issues.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in CS or related field + extensive healthcare integration experience, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years as an Application Engineer with Epic data structures experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and SQL; experience with Epic Clarity, UNIX, and Rhapsody.
• Knowledge of HL7, TCP/IP, and hospital/clinical workflows.
• Strong QA, problem-solving, and multi-project management skills.
• Epic Bridges certification preferred; HL7/OpenLink/Cloverleaf/eGate experience a plus.
