📋 Description

• Own systems, identities, accounts, and access controls for a fully distributed research org.
• Establish security standards, evaluate risks, and implement controls across cloud platforms and
• Focus on identity and access management; manage permissions as people join/change projects/leave.
• Collaborate with engineers/researchers to ensure security protocols are practical and followed.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in security, DevSecOps, IT operations, or related field.
• Experience owning security responsibilities within a medium-sized organization.
• Risk-based security judgment; balance controls with operational friction.
• Experience with identity, access management, endpoints, cloud infra, and business apps.
• Strong Google Workspace admin experience; AWS IAM knowledge is highly desirable.
• Autonomous, able to make access/security decisions; effective with engineers/technical teams.
