IT Network Infrastructure Specialist

📋 Description

• Plan, design and implement local and wide-area network solutions between multiple platforms and
• Conduct fiber optic detailed network design for middle mile and last mile fiber networks
• Assist in project planning, cost analysis and vendor comparisons
• Support job walks and determine needs for new installations and redesigns
• Collaborate with professional services and outsourcing as needed
• Develop procedures to support layer 1 infrastructure and improve reliability

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years in OSP and/or ISP fiber detailed design
• Experience with wired and wireless voice intercom systems
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering/technical field is preferred
• Ability to read wiring schematics and construction blueprints
