Operate overhead bridge crane (Demag 5/10 ton) to lift/move heavy steel products safely
Observe load hookup and assess load safety
Monitor steel in process tanks and zinc baths
Inspect hooks/chains; check crane setup thickness with gauges
Control crane speed/direction using pedals, levers, dials, switches
Perform paddling to improve galvanized finish

🎯 Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience operating overhead cranes; galvanizing facility preferred
Excellent safety record and strong work ethic
Ability to train others in Kettle Crane Operator I/II
Regular, reliable attendance required
