📋 Description

• The Analyst I prepares and analyzes environmental samples using standard analytical techniques
• This position may be physically demanding: standing, exposure to organic solvents, lab glassware
• Perform routine lab tasks to gain familiarity with methods, practices and programs.
• Prepare samples, perform chemical analysis, evaluate and report data, and maintain instrument
• Maintain training documentation, complete QC samples, document NCMs, and manage workload with
• Work under close supervision using routine methods and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

🎯 Requirements

• BS or BA in chemistry or related field; 3 years lab experience may substitute for degree.
• EPA method D1633, 537.1 or 533 experience beneficial.
• English proficiency required (read, write, speak).
• Strong math skills, time management, teamwork, and ability to follow written or verbal instructions.
• Experience with GC/MS, LCMS, organic prep, and wet chemistry protocols is desirable.
