Laboratory Supervisor - Microbiology

📋 Description

• Mid-shift 12pm - 9pm (Evenings & Weekends)
• Assist the Business Unit Manager in managing daily operations of the microbiology department
• Perform timely and accurate analysis of samples to meet customer commitments, including
• Have authority to execute a work stoppage for quality issues and initiate work when investigations
• Work with supervisor/director to commence work after a stoppage
• Apply quality measures that meet or exceed government and company standards during tasks

🎯 Requirements

• HS diploma plus 5-7 years laboratory experience or
• BS Degree plus 2-3 years laboratory experience
• Experience in laboratory procedures, data analysis, computer operations, mathematics, and
• 2-3 years supervisory experience in related field
• Ability to organize and lead personnel and schedule workflow to optimize productivity and client
