Lead Bioinformatician/Engineer (Pipelines and Infrastructure)

📋 Description

• Own pipeline and infrastructure engineering for a cfDNA research informatics team.
• Lead WDL workflows, transition toward Nextflow, and AWS infrastructure tooling.
• Enable scientists to process their samples end-to-end with minimal engineer involvement.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals with testing and debugging practice.
• Experience with at least one workflow system (Snakemake, CWL, WDL, Nextflow, etc.).
• Real cloud experience, ideally AWS, with infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred).
• Solid Linux, container, and version control practices.
• Built at least one AI-assisted workflow in production; ability to explain its impact.
• Track record of quickly picking up unfamiliar tools; strong written communication for documentation.
