Lead Compliance Engineer

📋 Description

• Own device testing and certification strategy across current and target markets
• Manage third-party labs, certification bodies, and regulatory consultants
• Drive end-to-end carrier certification for cellular products
• Build in-house pre-compliance capability for rapid design iterations
• Collaborate with electronics, RF, firmware, and mechanical teams to ensure first-pass compliance
• Maintain compliance framework, standards matrix, and declarations of conformity

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in regulatory compliance and certification for wireless/electronic products
• Deep knowledge of radio standards (FCC, ISED, RED, RCM), EMC/EMI, and product safety
• Experience with carrier certification programs (PTCRB, GCF, or direct approvals)
• Proven track record managing labs/consultants and driving certification timelines
• Hands-on pre-compliance testing with spectrum analysers
• Autonomous, strategic, budget-minded, and ownership-focused
