Lead Databricks Data Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead the security architecture and implementation of access controls across a modern Databricks
• Senior technical owner for data access governance, translating security and compliance requirements
• Hands-on software engineering with architecture, automation, governance, and technical leadership.
• Collaborate with data engineering, platform engineering, identity teams, and enterprise
• Shape how sensitive data is classified, accessed, monitored, and protected across the platform.
• Emphasizes infrastructure-as-code, automated security controls, and modern identity and federation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with at least 8 years of experience as a Software
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience implementing Databricks Unity Catalog security capabilities.
• Expertise designing and implementing RBAC and ABAC models at scale.
• Strong practical experience with Unity Catalog grants, dynamic views, row-level filtering
• Fluency with identity and federation concepts (SCIM, service principals, workload identities) and
• Experience IaC practices for Databricks security, preferably using Terraform.
