Lead Forward Deployed Engineer (AI-Native Software Development)

📋 Description

• Architect and manage deployments of JetBrains Central in enterprise environments.
• Mentor and support other Forward Deployed Engineers.
• Drive adoption from ad-hoc AI experiments to governed AI-native workflows.
• Establish AI governance, including security policies and data privacy controls.
• Enable observability and cost visibility for AI-driven development.
• Partner with JetBrains product teams to shape the platform and train partners.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years building or operating production software, with 3+ years customer-facing.
• Proficiency in Java or Python; read, debug, and extend production customer code.
• Experience building or integrating developer platforms or infrastructure.
• Navigating enterprise procurement, security review, and architecture processes.
• Familiarity with modern dev workflows: CI/CD, dev envs, internal platforms.
• Willingness to travel domestically to customer sites.
