Lead Manufacturing Engineer

📋 Description

• Hands-on role supporting spacecraft assembly, integration, and production.
• Develop and maintain process plans, work instructions, routings, BOMs, and production docs.
• Troubleshoot on the production floor with technicians; remove blockers.
• Develop and validate processes, tooling, fixtures, and layouts for assembly/integration.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Review designs for manufacturability; provide DFMA feedback to Design Eng.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in Manufacturing/Production/Industrial Eng in aerospace or high-reliability hardware.
• Bachelor’s in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on leader with a track record in manufacturing environments.
• Strong ability to read and feedback on mechanical drawings, GD&T, electrical schematics, CAD
• Experience developing/managing process plans, work instructions, routings, BOMs under configuration
• Experience with ERP/MRP/MES; EBOM/MBOM/PBOM, routings, work orders, inventory, production execution.
