Lead Software Engineer, Agentic AI Systems

📋 Description

• Lead software engineer for Agentic AI systems building Python AI agents on GCP Vertex AI.
• Develop Gemini/Vertex AI, tool-calling, multi-step reasoning, RAG, grounding strategies.
• Build/deploy AI agents using Google Vertex AI and the Google Agent SDK (ADK).
• Design complex claims workflows with SQL/PostgreSQL/BigQuery data backend.
• Design prompts, few-shot learning, and Chain-of-Thought for adjudication/medical coding.
• Ensure PHI privacy with Google Cloud DLP in AI pipelines.

🎯 Requirements

• Expert Python developer: LangChain, LangGraph, or PydanticAI.
• Gemini & Vertex AI: hands-on with Gemini models and Google Agent SDK (ADK).
• Vertex AI Python SDK: Reasoning Engine, Extensions, Function Calling.
• Prompt engineering to mitigate hallucinations; deterministic outputs.
• 8+ years of full-stack experience with backend focus.
• AI-First SDLC with tools like Cursor, WindSurf, GitHub Copilot.
