Legal Counsel

📋 Description

• Own a broad, varied legal remit in a scaling tech business.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, People, Engineering, InfoSec and Product.
• Draft and negotiate customer-documents (MSAs, DPAs, SLAs, NDAs) and supplier contracts.
• Guide data protection, AI and IP matters, UK GDPR compliance, and safeguarding proprietary tech.
• Improve templates, playbooks, and processes to scale the legal function.
• Balance commercial goals with risk, escalating when needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with 2–4 years’ PQE; in-house experience preferred.
• Proven commercial contracts experience in SaaS/tech; comfortable with complex docs.
• Experience in data protection, AI and IP; ability to navigate fast-moving regulatory landscape.
• US footprint exposure is a plus; familiarity with regulated environments (outsourcing rules, DORA
