Legal Counsel

📋 Description

• Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS agreements, MSAs, enterprise, licensing, vendor, reseller, and NDAs.
• Advise on commercial, IP, and data privacy across product, partnerships, and operations.
• Review and negotiate DPAs; advise on EU data privacy laws and GDPR.
• Support IP strategy: trademarks, copyrights, patents, trade secrets, and IP ownership.
• Assist with open-source OSS compliance, IP assignment for staff and contractors.
• Build and maintain templates, playbooks, policies, and scalable contracting workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• Admitted to and in good standing with the bar of at least one EU country.
• 6+ years of relevant legal experience, ideally combining law firm and in-house startup experience.
• Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating SaaS agreements, MSAs, enterprise agreements, NDAs, DPAs, Order Forms and other commercial contracts.
• Solid understanding of EU data privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR and other state-specific privacy requirements.
• Experience handling intellectual property matters, including trademarks, patents, copyright, licensing, and IP ownership issues.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills with a pragmatic, solution-oriented, risk-based approach.
