Legal Counsel (Payment)

📋 Description

• Act as the sole in-house lawyer, advising executives.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal contracts.
• Develop and implement crypto regulatory-compliant policies.
• Identify legal risks and devise mitigation strategies.
• Investigate complaints and recommend solutions.
• Stay updated on laws affecting the company and advise on impact.

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree (LLB/JD) qualified; other major common law jurisdictions.
• Qualified lawyer with 3-5 years PQE at reputable international or top local firm.
• Experience advising on products and regulatory matters.
• Strong understanding of payments regulation, funds, and licensing.
• Experience in payments, fintech, EMI/PSP, or financial services compliance.
• English and Mandarin proficiency; multi-jurisdiction exposure a plus.
