📋 Description

  • Provide practical privacy law advice to the Australian business.
  • Develop and implement privacy policies, procedures and training predominantly in the Australian
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments and report on risks.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Investigate and respond to privacy incidents.
  • Work closely with Risk and Data teams and Privacy Champions across the business.

🎯 Requirements

  • Demonstrated inclusive and interpersonal attributes aligned with company behaviours.
  • 4-5 PQE+ experience as a lawyer with strong privacy experience.
  • Unrestricted Australian practising certificate.
  • Experience in contract drafting and negotiation.
  • Knowledge of recent and upcoming privacy reforms.
  • Ability to create privacy training material and manage privacy compliance activities.
