📋 Description

• Advise product and engineering on legal/regulatory aspects of payments products
• Translate regulatory requirements into clear guidance for compliant products
• Partner on licensing and market-entry strategies; oversee license applications
• Provide regulatory guidance on payments, cryptocurrency, and cross-border transactions
• Identify regulatory risks and develop pragmatic mitigations to enable growth
• Build scalable legal processes to support rapid growth

🎯 Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school and bar membership in good standing
• 7+ years of legal experience, including fintech/financial services; 15+ for senior level
• Strong knowledge of financial services and payments regulations
• Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice balancing risk with business goals
• Experience collaborating with product, engineering, compliance, and business teams
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
