Legal Director

📋 Description

• Provide legal support for Coupa’s Go-To-Market sales org across EMEA to help close deals.
• Negotiate and draft SaaS master subscriptions, DPAs, AI terms, PSAs, partner agreements, regulatory
• Take over service desk tickets for the EMEA Legal team to unblock business.
• Advise on regulatory and customer compliance EU/EEA.
• Learn Coupa products, security, and data protection to support all lines of business.
• Collaborate with sales ops, finance, product, privacy, security and Deal Desk teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified German lawyer; Master of Laws a plus; international bar member a plus.
• Fluent German and English (written and spoken); other languages desirable.
• 10+ years' experience, at least 4 in-house in tech; exposure to US software industry a plus.
• Ability to handle complex contractual issues with autonomy; excellent communication.
• Strong relationship-building and proactive, service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment; think outside the box.
