Linux Kernel Development Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Linux kernel components for CIQ.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design kernels.
• Write high-quality C code and kernel components per standards.
• Develop kernel tests and automation to improve build, test, and release.
• Debug kernel-level issues, including memory management, scheduling, and IPC.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers for seamless kernel-hardware integration.

🎯 Requirements

• Passion for Linux and open source; commit to high-quality products.
• Proficiency in C and low-level system programming.
• 5+ years in Linux kernel development; kernel module experience.
• Strong debugging/troubleshooting for kernel-level issues.
• Deep knowledge of Linux kernel internals, filesystems, and drivers.
• BS/MS in CS/Engineering (or equivalent) with relevant experience.
