Linux Platform Engineering

📋 Description

• Own the enterprise Linux platform roadmap, including OS lifecycle management, patching
• Define and maintain engineering standards, platform build patterns, and reliability-focused
• Design scalable Linux solutions across on-prem and cloud infra.
• Act as technical authority for compute, virtualization, storage, and core Linux services.
• Lead architecture discussions and key engineering decisions for Linux platforms.
• Drive automation and IaC with Ansible, Terraform, Bash, and Python.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• 7–10+ years engineering and operating Linux in enterprise envs (8–10 preferred).
• Deep expertise in SUSE/RHEL or equivalent across large deployments.
• Proficient with Bash and Python; Perl a plus.
• Experience with automation/IaC tools: Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, etc.
• VMware vSphere experience; networking fundamentals; storage integration.
