📋 Description

• Source carriers and develop repeatable lane relationships.
• Live on DAT and load boards to source capacity and pricing.
• Negotiate market rates and cover freight efficiently.
• Price FTL/LTL opportunities and turn quotes around fast.
• Maintain margin and lane discipline, monitor performance.
• Coordinate with sales, dispatch, and customer service to move bookings smoothly.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years in freight brokerage, carrier sales, or transportation operations with hands-on sourcing
• Experience with load boards (DAT, Truckstop, or equivalent) and a TMS.
• Comfort pricing FTL and LTL freight: lane analysis, market rates, fuel, and accessorials.
• Strong negotiation instincts and ability to cover hard freight under time pressure.
• Familiarity with carrier compliance basics: insurance verification, operating authority, FMCSA
• Solid Excel and data fluency.
