Machine Safety Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and implement engineered controls to improve employee safety across laboratory networks.
• Develop solutions including lifting devices, ergonomic workstations, equipment mods, fixtures, and
• Lead projects from concept through implementation and deployment.
• Create drawings, specifications, and design packages; develop prototypes and PoC solutions.
• Perform testing and validation to verify performance and effectiveness.
• Coordinate installation, startup, and deployment activities and manage multiple projects

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in design, manufacturing, automation, or related engineering roles.
• Experience from concept to implementation; strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with fabrication vendors, machine shops, and maintenance teams.
• Preferred CAD tooling: SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD; prototyping and product development
• Experience in ergonomics, human factors, material handling, and laboratory/regulated environments.
