Machinist (Journeyman or Apprentice)

📋 Description

• Operate CNC and manual machine tools to manufacture precision components
• Read blueprints and specifications for accurate production
• Measure parts with calipers, micrometers, gauges to verify tolerances
• Set up machines, select tools, adjust speeds/feeds for efficiency
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety protocols
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine maintenance

🎯 Requirements

• Education: certified journeyperson or active apprenticeship in Alberta
• Certification: Interprovincial Standards Red Seal
• Experience: Beginner to < 2 years
• Proficiency in CNC and manual tool operation
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints
• Familiar with precision measurement tools and QC instruments
