Maintenance Mechanic

📋 Description

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and buildings, incl.
• Repair/replace motors, gear boxes, chain drives, rollers, belts with proper alignment/tensioning.
• Repair air handling systems with various blowers.
• Fabricate, repair, install guarding on material handling equipment.
• Repair building plumbing and fit/install piping systems (black iron, plastic, brass, copper
• Troubleshoot and replace electric circuits/systems (motors, fuses, breakers, control wiring

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Preferred: A.S. Eng. Technology or Vocational Training; Welding certification.
• Certifications as operator of material handling equipment (forklifts, telehandlers, loaders).
• Experience rigging/moving equipment; electrical safety/NFPA 70E training.
• Experience maintaining material handling equipment and powered industrial trucks.
