Manager, Collections

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end collections and accounts receivable process from daily recovery to strategy.
• Lead and mentor a team of collections analysts, tracking KPIs like aging and recovery.
• Run core collections ops: TSYS balance holds, ACH returns, write-offs, journal entries.
• Analyze delinquency trends to improve forecasting and cash flow.
• Escalation point for tough recoveries; partner with Disputes/Underwriting on risk.
• Document processes; safeguard against errors, losses and risk (SOC 1, SOX).

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in collections, AR, or related fintech/accounting roles, managing high-volume receivables.
• Experience leading or mentoring a team.
• Strong grasp of collections, billing platforms, and compliance (SOC 1, SOX a plus).
• Analytical/problem-solving skills; advanced Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience with CRM/ERP like Salesforce and Workday.
• Clear communicator with cross-team relationship management.
