Manager, Data Governance

📋 Description

• Lead and grow the Data Governance function, setting strategy for data ownership, stewardship
• Own DataHub as the living catalog of data assets (metadata, tagging, lineage, stewardship).
• Evaluate and deploy governance tools (Collibra, Alation, Atlan) and observability/quality tools
• Define and maintain the Enterprise Data Quality Framework, including six quality dimensions and
• Govern data access, privacy, and compliance with regulations; facilitate cross-functional
• Build a culture of data accountability through training and stakeholder engagement.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in data governance or data management, with ≥2 years in leadership.
• Hands-on experience with data catalog/metadata management; DataHub preferred; familiarity with
• Knowledge of data observability and quality tooling (Monte Carlo, Lightup, Great Expectations, dbt).
• Familiarity with privacy/entitlement governance platforms (OneTrust, Privacera).
• Strong understanding of data quality frameworks, SLAs, and data classifications in cloud
• Experience with dbt lineage, documentation, testing, and cross-functional governance.
