Manager, External Supply

📋 Description

• Manage assigned supplier relationships to support AbbVie's manufacturing network.
• Partner cross-functionally with Procurement, Quality, Planning, Science & Technology
• Maintain supplier KPIs, performance metrics, and action plans.
• Coordinate and lead supplier business reviews and operational meetings.
• Lead Assurance of Supply activities including forecast alignment, capacity planning, risk
• Handle routine supply, service, and quality escalations with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business, Science, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years in supply chain, external manufacturing, procurement, supplier management, or related
• Experience working in cross-functional teams to manage supplier performance.
• Knowledge of supplier performance metrics, capacity planning, forecasting, and AoS principles.
• Strong verbal/written communication, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
