Manager, Propulsion (Systems & Components) (R5087)

📋 Description

• Lead propulsion subsystem and component development from concept through flight operations.
• Mentor propulsion engineers responsible for hardware design, integration, testing, and support.
• Design propulsion components balancing mass, thermal, structural, manufacturability, and
• Guide teams through thermal/flow environments with high temps, loads, vibration, and transient
• Drive architecture decisions for valves, actuators, ducts, mounts, and propulsion hardware.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across design, manufacturing, supply chain, test, and vehicle

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 7-10+ years in aerospace propulsion, fluid systems, or hardware development.
• Experience leading engineering teams or complex subsystem development.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and propulsion fundamentals.
• Experience with aerospace component design, structural integration, and thermal/mechanical design
• Hands-on experience with development hardware and rapid iteration programs.
