Manager, Software Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead a distributed engineering team across US/EU time zones.
• Mentor engineers and drive ecosystem of proactive ownership and excellence.
• Oversee global infrastructure expansions (FedRAMP High / IL4, India, Australia).
• Guide microservices, Go-based services, and extreme-scale architectures.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Product to align roadmaps and ensure reliability.
• Maintain production environments and incident response with GitOps and IaC practices.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years software experience with 2–4+ years people management.
• Go language depth; performance tuning and concurrency.
• Kubernetes and Docker for cloud-native microservices.
• Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux) and Terraform (or Atlantis).
• Strong operations mindset; production on-call and 24/7 SaaS experience.
• Cross-regional collaboration across US Central/Eastern with EU/US alignment.
