Manager - Software Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead and develop a team of full-stack engineers with ownership and accountability
• Own the payments platform technical execution and quality
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions with Product
• Define architecture and direction for a high-scale distributed payments system
• Ensure correctness, reliability, scalability, and maintainability
• Raise engineering bar for code quality, testing, observability, and deployment

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in software engineering; 2+ years in engineering leadership
• Experience building high-scale distributed systems in production
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, idempotency, retries, data consistency
• Relational databases, APIs, service-oriented architectures
• Event-driven or queue-based architectures (SQS, Kafka, RabbitMQ); AWS or other cloud
• Testing, observability, monitoring, incident management
