Manager, Software Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead a full-stack engineering team of backend and mobile engineers.
• Hybrid role based in Mountain View HQ with in-office days 2 days/week.
• Contribute to early-stage product design and development (0-1) for Savings products.
• Drive AI-native practices to accelerate planning, development, and validation.
• Coach engineers on AI tooling and disciplined engineering practices.
• Partner with product and cross-functional teams to translate goals into tech roadmaps.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience with leadership in IC or EM capacity.
• Ability to design architecture, write scalable code, and mentor others.
• Experience with cross-functional partners (PMs, Analysts, mobile/backend engineers).
• Hands-on fluency with AI-native workflows and tools such as Cursor and Claude.
• Strong problem-solving orientation and ability to maintain positive team environment.

🎁 Benefits

• Base salary range: $266,000 - $326,000 + equity + benefits.
