📋 Description

• Hands-on technical depth - read code, review designs, pair during on-call
• Lead and mentor a team of up to 8 engineers
• Drive operational excellence: own SLOs and on-call rotation
• Stay close to technical detail: design reviews, architecture, tech debt
• Own engineers' career development with growth plans
• Co-own backlog and roadmap with Product; trade-offs between needs & health

🎯 Requirements

• 1+ years in management or leading senior engineers
• 6+ years backend development on large-scale distributed systems
• Strong problem solving, design, coding and debugging
• Experience building observable, high-perf services
• Mentoring and growing senior engineers
• Go proficiency; stack includes Rails, MySQL, Redis, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS
