Manager, Software - Perception (R3770)

📋 Description

• Lead teams across autonomy, integration, and testing to drive mission-focused execution.
• Develop and optimize perception algorithms for object detection and tracking across sensors.
• Implement sensor fusion frameworks for situational awareness from vision, radar, and other sensors.
• Develop state estimation for localization and navigation using IMU, GPS, and vision data.
• Interpret ICDs and hardware specs to ensure correct data handling and synchronization.
• Improve perception performance in simulation and real-world conditions.

🎯 Requirements

• BS/MS in CS/EE/ME/Aerospace or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years with Bachelor’s, or 5 years with Master’s, or 4 years with PhD, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in unmanned systems DoD or R&D programs.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience.
• Background in Kalman filters, multi-target tracking, or deep learning-based detection.
• Familiarity with fusing data from radar, EO/IR, or other sensors; SLAM or visual-inertial odometry.
