Managing Counsel, Product (Payroll experience required)

📋 Description

• Provide end-to-end product legal counsel for payroll and AI-enabled products.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Payroll, Privacy, Security, and Commercial Legal teams.
• Advise on product terms, AI provisions, data use, IP ownership, and transparency.
• Monitor AI, employment, data protection, and payroll regs across jurisdictions.
• Support GDPR/CCPA compliance and privacy framework alignment.
• Manage external counsel on multi-jurisdictional matters.

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with experience advising technology products across jurisdictions.
• Proven product counsel in HR tech, payroll, PEO, EOR, HRIS, or related platforms.
• Ability to advise on complex products at scale across multiple jurisdictions.
• Deep knowledge of AI/ML legal/regulatory frameworks (EU/UK/US/Canada).
• Understanding of AI regulation, data protection, employment, and payroll compliance.
• Payroll compliance experience across multiple jurisdictions.
