Managing Director - Accounting Advisory (Operational Accounting/Controller)

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee monthly close processes for clients, including cash-to-accrual conversions and
• Review balance sheet reconciliations (intercompany, inventory, cash, prepaids)
• Support accounting compliance, tax forms, 1099s, and internal control development
• Oversee budgets/forecasts and management reporting
• Guide cloud-based finance/accounting system implementations
• Manage journal entries, invoices, and reconciliations during closings

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years in advisory/controllership roles; strong professional services background
• 7+ years controllership in growth/middle-market/PE-backed companies
• Deep expertise in operational accounting; US GAAP and/or IFRS knowledge
• Hands-on ERP experience: NetSuite, Sage, MS Dynamics, QuickBooks; analytics tools
• Ability to leverage AI/automation for processes and reporting
• Proven West Coast client relationship experience; executive presence
