Mechanical Engineer (Starship Avionics)

📋 Description

• Design custom instrumentation for extreme thermal, dynamic and pressure envs
• Design integrated product solutions for fluid and electro-mechanical assemblies
• Hands-on with processes incl. pressure and thermal testing, laser welding
• Perform thermal, structural, and tolerance analyses using hand calcs and FEA
• Initial mechanical design, 3D modeling, production drawings, data maintenance
• Conduct failure analysis related to thermal, loads, vibration and shock

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's in mechanical, aerospace, systems, or Electrical Eng
• 1+ years in mechanical/electromechanical design and analysis
• Strong CAD and FEA software experience
• Proficient with hand calcs, FEA, and CAD
• Experience with high-volume production and manufacturability
• Exposure to high vibration and high-pressure environments
